Expungement Application

The expungement process in Arkansas City Municipal Court is outlined in K.S.A. 12-4516 and K.S.A. 12-4516a.

• Filing fees are non-refundable — if your request is denied, you will not get the fee back.

What Expungement Means

• If granted, the record is generally made unavailable to the public.
• In some cases, you may still be required to disclose the original conviction, diversion, or arrest.
• Arkansas City Municipal Court may also be required to disclose the record in certain situations.
