• The City of Arkansas City enforces traffic violations using the Standard Traffic Ordinance (STO).
• The city adopted the 2024 STO (51st Edition) by reference through Ordinance No. 2024-11-4625 on November 5, 2024.
• Published by the League of Kansas Municipalities (LKM) since 1960.
• Incorporated under K.S.A. 12-0339 through 12-3012, 12-3301, and 12-3302.

• Section 201.1 – Amended: Failure to Comply with a Traffic Citation
• Section 201.2 – Added: Failure to Comply with a Traffic Citation

Uniform Public Offense Code (UPOC)

• Non-traffic offenses are enforced using the Uniform Public Offense Code (UPOC).
• The city adopted the 2024 UPOC (40th Edition) by reference through Ordinance No. 2024-11-4626 on November 5, 2024.
• Published by the League of Kansas Municipalities (LKM) since 1980.
• Incorporated under K.S.A. 12-3009 through 12-3012, 12-3301, and 12-3302.
