Collection Guidelines

• Place polycart out by 6:00 AM on pickup day
• All trash must be bagged and placed in polycart
• No construction debris or unauthorized containers
• Limit outside trash to 1–2 bags; extra loads start at $30.81
• Keep lid closed, don’t overfill
• Store cart on private property

Polycart Info

• Remains property of the City
• City covers normal repairs
• Customer is responsible for damage from neglect/abuse
• Report theft/vandalism to Police, then call Public Services (620-441-4444)
• Keep clean with soap & water

Yard Waste

• Sanitation Dept. does not collect bagged leaves/branches
• Free disposal at F Street Limb & Compost Site
• Hours: Monday –Thursday 8 AM–1 PM; Saturday 8 AM–4 PM

Special Pickups

Large items (appliances w/out Freon, furniture, etc.)

• Minimum fee: $30.81 per call
• Must place items at pickup location before calling
• Contractors must dispose of construction debris themselves

Rental Dumpsters

• 4-yard dumpster: $45 setup + $45 per dump/return (3-day rental, +$5/day after)
• 16-yard dump trailer: $125 setup + $125 per dump/return (3-day rental)
