Standby Rates (Non-Emergency Events)

The Arkansas City Fire-EMS Department can be requested to provide standby coverage at community or private events such as rodeos, football games, and similar gatherings.

How it works:

  • All requests must be made in writing.
  • Billing will be handled through the City’s Finance Division.

Rates:

  • $45 per hour, per City employee
  • Two-hour minimum per employee
  • After the minimum, time is billed in 1/100-hour increments
